Bastian, big thanks to Ruth for settind this up! It looks great. So tomorrow we will start - small challenge compared to the real adventureres, but nevertheless an endeavour in our pretty busy lives. I am looking forward to it - the personal challenge and experience - great that we can do it together. We shouldn’t take it for granted that time, place, schedules, good health etc. all work out just fine. Maybe we become reminded of our limits and just fail to do it in the time we had planned, on the other hand we might thrive and plan the next challenge … we will see.
As parents of the two guys - living 10.000 miles away from Singapore - we are of course very proud to see how they met this challenge.
Hi, boys, great performance !!
Well, two weeks later (although of course merely a week-end warrior challenge) I am very satisfied that we accomplished what we set out to do. Thanks for putting together the chronicles of Day 1 - great impressions!
Behold, the next and more significant challenge ideas have been born and we will do the planning as we started to discuss. As the saying goes … start small, scale fast.
